Banking & Business Correspondent Services
Akshaya Finvest describes Business Correspondent and last-mile banking access services that may become available subject to a formally confirmed partner-bank authorization and applicable requirements. These services are not currently presented as active unless and until the relevant authorization is verified.
Extending Banking to the Last Mile
Bridging the last mile between institutional banking systems and under-banked citizens in rural and semi-urban India — offered once a formal Business Correspondent authorization with a partner bank is in place.
Customer Service Point (CSP)
Once the relevant partner-bank authorization is confirmed, this category may include assisting local citizens with services such as Aadhaar Enabled Payment Systems (AePS), basic banking transactions, Micro-ATM services and direct benefit transfer (DBT) support, subject to the bank's authorization, applicable requirements and service scope.
- Assisted account opening & e-KYC support
- Aadhaar-enabled / biometric transaction assistance, where authorized
- Government pension & subsidy / DBT support, where authorized
Self-Help Group (SHG) Support
Where formally authorized or arranged with a partner institution, this category may include facilitating microfinance linkage, documentation support and financial-literacy assistance for eligible self-help groups, dairy farmers, rural artisans and other applicable groups.
- Group formation guidance & record-keeping
- Bank loan linkage facilitation
- Financial literacy workshops for rural micro-borrowers
Compliance & Recovery Support
Where Akshaya Finvest is formally engaged by a confirmed partner institution for permitted collections or portfolio-support activities, such activities would be carried out within the applicable regulatory requirements, partner instructions and fair-practice standards.
- Strict adherence to RBI code of conduct
- Respectful borrower counseling & restructuring guidance
- Transparent audit trails & MIS reporting
Who This Would Typically Serve (once confirmed)
- Individuals without easy access to a bank branch, particularly in under-banked rural/semi-urban locations
- Self-help groups, dairy farmers, rural artisans and small borrowers needing basic banking access
- Government pension & subsidy (DBT) beneficiaries needing local verification support
What Would Typically Be Needed
- Valid identity/KYC documentation as required for the relevant service, partner bank and applicable rules.
- An existing bank account with the partner bank, or assistance opening one on the spot
- Biometric authentication for AePS-based transactions
- Exact requirements are set by the partner bank's BC agreement, not by us
This is a general description of who this category is designed for once a Business Correspondent authorization exists — it does not confirm current availability. See the status notice above.
Who Does What
Akshaya Finvest's Role
Akshaya Finvest may facilitate a banking-services enquiry, explain the relevant process and support documentation where a formal partner-bank arrangement and permitted service scope are in place.
The Partner Institution's Role
The confirmed partner bank determines the applicable service scope, customer eligibility, account or transaction requirements, approvals and other institutional decisions under its own policies and applicable rules.
What Happens After You Enquire
Where a relevant authorization exists, our team may contact you to understand your requirement and explain the applicable next steps. Any banking service, account opening, transaction approval or other institutional decision remains subject to the confirmed partner bank and applicable requirements. Any applicable charges, if any, would be disclosed according to the confirmed partner-bank arrangement and applicable terms. Akshaya Finvest will not represent an unconfirmed service as active.
