This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you interact with Akshaya Finvest — through our website, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Lead Forms, WhatsApp, phone, email, or in person — why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights available to you.

2. Information We Collect

Website forms — name, mobile number, email address, city/location, and the financial product or service you are enquiring about.

Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Lead Forms — the fields you consented to share via an Instant Form / Lead Ad on our Facebook or Instagram presence.

WhatsApp — your WhatsApp-registered phone number, display name (if visible), and message content.

Phone and email enquiries — your phone number, email address, and any information you share about your enquiry.

In the course of service delivery — if you proceed with an enquiry across any of our live product categories (Loans, Insurance, Business Insurance, Investments, NRI Investment, or Banking & BC Services), we or our partner institutions may collect further information necessary to process it.

Automatically, via our website — IP address, browser/device type, and pages visited, together with essential cookies required for the website to function. Akshaya Finvest does not currently use analytics, advertising, or remarketing tracking tools (such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or the Meta Pixel) on this website; if this changes, this Policy and our Cookie Policy will be updated accordingly.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (financial account numbers, government ID numbers, or health information) through our website or Meta Lead Forms. Where such information is required for a specific product application, it is collected only through the relevant bank/NBFC/insurer/AMC partner's own secure process.

To respond to and follow up on your enquiry; understand which product/service you need; connect you with the right advisor or partner; maintain a record of your enquiry in our CRM system; communicate with you about your enquiry; improve our services and marketing effectiveness; comply with legal/regulatory requirements; and, where you have separately consented, send you relevant product or offer information.

4. How Information Is Used

Your information is used internally by our sales and advisory team to review your enquiry, assign it to the right advisor, and follow up. Your enquiry is recorded in our Zoho CRM system, which we use to track enquiries and generate internal reporting on enquiry volumes, sources and outcomes. We do not use your information for any purpose incompatible with the purpose it was collected for, except where required by law.

5. Communication

By submitting an enquiry through any channel, you consent to being contacted regarding that enquiry via phone call, SMS, WhatsApp, and/or email. You may withdraw this consent at any time (see Section 10).

6. Sharing With Service Providers and Partners

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with: regulated partner institutions, only where necessary to process an enquiry you have chosen to pursue and only to the extent authorized; service providers who support our operations (our CRM provider Zoho, and lead-capture/integration tools that connect Meta/Facebook and Instagram Lead Ads submissions into our CRM), under obligations to protect your information; Meta Platforms, Inc., to the extent necessary to operate our Lead Ads/Instant Forms integration; legal and regulatory authorities where required by law; and successors, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including access controls within our CRM limiting access to personnel who need it. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, provide and manage our services, maintain appropriate business and transaction records, comply with applicable legal, regulatory, accounting or contractual requirements, resolve disputes, and protect our legitimate interests.

Where a product application proceeds through a partner institution, retention also follows that institution's own policy and applicable law.
